Bernarda and Lewis Buhagiar are pictured in this portrait taken in 1970 at Sears. The couple took the photograph as a memento to pass down to their kids and family. Lewis moved to Detroit from Gozo in 1951 to work for Ford, where he worked for thirty years. Bernard came to Detroit via New York City from Gozo to marry Lewis in January of 1953. The two married a month later in February in Detroit.
